First time here?
In order to determine if you have a seat that has an active recall on it, you will need certain information from the seat. You will need the seat brand, model, model number and date of manufacture. This information can be found on a label on the seat. If you can not find the information, contact the seat manufacturer. If you can not find the seat manufacturer here and/or they are out of business DO NOT USE THE SEAT!

Note: The shelf life of the average child safety seat is 6 to 10 years. If the seat you own is older than this do not use the seat. If the company that manufactured your seat is not listed on our recall page we were unable to locate contact information. Unless you were able to contact them for recall information on the seat do not use it.

Britax
888-427-4829

Britax conducts ongoing development testing on their products. When developing a new molding tool for the Regent shell, they introduced features that improved the performance of the products made with the new tool, over those made with the older tools. The product made with the older tools did meet the requirements of FMVSS No. 213, but Britax felt that providing the components (anti-skid strips) and new installation routing instructions would help current owners achieve the same enhanced performance.

The Britax Regent update kit is available for products produced from November 10, 2005 through June 18, 2007. The eligible Regent Child Restraint Systems have a model number beginning E9L39.
